Tweetups are informal opportunities for people who know each other on social media (Like Twitter) to meet in real life. Watch the Twitter hashtags #TriSciTweetup (for the Research Triangle region of North Carolina), #NYCSciTweetup (New York City, natch), #DCSciTweetup (Washington, D.C.), and #LASciTweetup for details about when to meet with other science-loving Twitter users – or is it Twitter-loving science users – over food and drinks.
